Atmus Southern Distribution Center Site Leader
Description
We are looking for a talented Site Leader/Manager to join our team in Dallas, Tx for our Southern Distribution Center. The responsibilities of this role is to direct, manage and lead a cross-functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in Parts Distribution Center operations or warehouse, providing excellent product availability and service to Cummins Distributors and Aftermarket customers, and/or internal Cummins stakeholders.
Overall Leadership responsibility of a small to medium Parts Distribution Center. Responsible for delivering on/better than plan performance for Key Performance Indicators.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Accountable for Service Level Agreement commitments to General Managers of all Business Units whose products are distributed through the facility.
Responsible for jointly developing and executing business strategies with other staff members responsible for Global Materials, Transportation, Logistics Improvement & Data Integration functions.
Coordinate key business support activities required to operate facilities effectively, including (but not limited to): Safety, Security & Facilities Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Excellence (6 Sigma/Lean), Sales and Operations Planning, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources.
Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital. Manage Capital Investment requirements (Personal Protection Equipment & Information Technology) to support business plans.
Responsible for ensuring Cummins values are demonstrated in site- this includes employee/labor relations, community involvement, diversity, health, safety, and environmental practices, fostering the right environment in the areas of safety, ethical behavior and financial compliance standards.
Manage and develop supply chain capability; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Mentor and coach individual and collective talent to develop supply chain capability across the organization.
Champion continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction by leveraging common processes, tools and information systems.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
Trade Knowledge Application - Applies knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.
Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.
Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").
Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
Directs work - Providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done.
Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Carrier Management - Supports and evaluates carrier performance through consistent monitoring of on time pick up, transit time and on time delivery measures to ensure fulfillment by published schedule and rated cost.

Experience
Significant experience required including leadership, strategic, financial, and functional.
Responsibility for safety performance and culture of operation, development of staff to ensure continuous improvement values are cultivated.
Overall service to customers including, quality performance, on time shipping, on time receipts, and condition of product. Also responsible for interpreting profit and loss statements and responding to misses in performance to AOP.
Base salary range: $ 97,600 - $146,400
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
