IVY BRAIN TUMOR CENTER
The Ivy Brain Tumor Center is a non-conventional, non-profit program offering state-of-the-art clinical trials for patients with the most aggressive form of brain cancer. It is home to the largest collection of Phase 0 trials for brain tumors in the world. Our multidisciplinary team of brain tumor specialists and scientists are accelerating drug discovery and precision medicine in neuro-oncology to identify the most promising first-in-class therapies for brain tumor patients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Data Manager (CDM) is responsible for the data management activities in the design, administration, data collection and lock of the database for trials conducted as Investigator Initiated Trials. As part of the Research Team, the CDM will play a key role with the Research Team and interface with external vendors to fulfill the responsibilities of data management.
Duties include, but may not be limited to:
Serve as Lead Data Manager
Develop the study database according to clinical trial specifications, including:eCRF design
user requirements
edit check specifications
user acceptance testing (UAT)
medical coding
query management
data validation programming and testing
Initial, ongoing and final database quality compliance checks
Create and maintain the Data Management Plan (DMP), eCRF guidelines and other DM documentation as required
Manage data imports/exports
Ensure data system compliance for ICH GCP and regulatory authorities
Participate in meetings as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines
Proven ability to work through others to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
Proven ability to understand customer needs and appropriately influence decision making
Ability to balance operational and strategic priorities
Demonstrated proficiency in using systems and technology to achieve work objectives
Demonstrated proficiency at analyzing data and information to make conclusions and drive sound decision making
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language
Effective presentation skills

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a health care or other scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2 years clinical research/data management experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
Regular sitting for extended periods of time
Occasional travel requirement
