A leading commercial real estate firm is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of properties in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in property operations, financial oversight, and tenant relations.

Position Goals:

  • Align property performance with ownership objectives
  • Ensure consistent lease compliance and cost control
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and property owners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets for multiple commercial properties
  • Review and interpret monthly financial reports to ensure financial targets are met
  • Act as the main point of contact for property-related issues from both tenants and owners
  • Collaborate with legal teams on lease interpretation, evictions, and lockouts
  • Monitor and enforce lease terms and obligations
  • Coordinate and supervise vendor services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee maintenance needs and identify capital improvement opportunities
  • Manage bidding and execution of tenant improvement projects
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards
  • Oversee annual bidding processes for recurring contracts
  • Supervise and support property management assistants
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Respond promptly to client and team inquiries
  • Maintain confidentiality and represent the company with professionalism
  • Support team objectives and take on related responsibilities as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • 3–5 years of property management experience required (COMMERCIAL IS REQUIRED)
  • Solid knowledge of budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and lease management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of computer and phone (5–6 hours/day)
  • Sitting: 5–6 hours/day; Standing: 1–2 hours/day
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
  • Regular property site visits and inspections
  • Adequate vision for office work and property assessments
