Overview Corporate Trainer — Location: Conyers, GA, US 30013. Work Arrangement: Remote. DFR is part of the Climate and Sustainability Technologies segment of the Dover Corporation. What we’re looking for We are looking for an experienced facilitator to lead Hillphoenix Learning Center Programs. This trainer should have the flexibility to travel throughout the country to facilitate programs. In addition, the trainer will assist with curriculum development and implementation strategies with direction from the Manager, Corporate Training. What you’ll be responsible for in this role Lead and conduct both lecture and hands on learning activities for contractors, customers, dealers, and employees. Collaborate with Learning Center team members to be a key contact for the curriculum development process. This includes development of hands on learning activities, reviewing curriculum for accuracy, providing feedback to course writers, and participating in weekly review meetings. Complete and process thorough evaluations that will be instrumental in the training quality control process. Stay updated on industry trends, including new product and process developments related to Hillphoenix products and field activity (e.g., new installation practices, new products). Assist with managing on the road training program, including database updates, scheduling, and updating curriculum content. Collaborate with team members on course delivery planning and resource allocation; manage inventory of learning assets (e.g., demo units). Produce learning materials. Basic qualifications 10+ years of HVAC/R experience, with 5+ years in the supermarket refrigeration industry Preferred qualifications Technical Certification or Degree with 10 years of HVAC/R experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the supermarket refrigeration industry To be a great fit for the role Strong working knowledge of computer and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Familiarity with Hillphoenix product lines Self-motivated with a good attitude and a desire to work in a team atmosphere Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, one-line diagrams, control wiring diagrams, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical information and procedures, government regulations Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels, i.e. production staff, application engineers, managers, executives, customers and the general public Must be willing and able to discipline themselves to work to schedules and deadlines, and flexible enough to adjust working hours accordingly Overnight travel will be required Must have strong presentation and instructional skills Values and why you should join our team The backbone behind our collection of outstanding businesses is a team of dedicated employees who protect and enhance our valued reputation for quality and delivering what we promise.
