Northside Imports is seeking a Counterperson to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling auto part products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide price quotes and other information to customers over the phone or in person.
• Answering phone calls and directing to appropriate party.
• Assist customer with order pickups.
• Create customer invoices and process payments.
• Process credit/debit card payments from customers. Assist in cash payments with our Accounting Department
• Build relationships with customers in order to better meet their needs.
• Coordinate with others in the parts department to troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Handling customer complaints, issues, returns and exchanges
•  

JOB SKILLS:

• A STRONG background AND knowledge in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new information and adapt to a flexible, changing, and fast-paced business.
• A high degree of integrity and professionalism with customers and our teams.
• Exceptional phone and in-person communication skills.
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree candidates also desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
