The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with a keen focus on insurance approval processes. This position is pivotal in providing accurate and competitive project estimates that drive our business forward. You will be part of a collaborative team to deliver comprehensive cost estimates and proposals. The role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities: Utilize Xactimate software to prepare and present detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Analyze and comprehend project specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Conduct thorough risk analysis to support the decision-making process. Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project and ensure accurate estimates. Prepare and present cost reports and pricing suggestions to management. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets. Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Handle insurance approval processes efficiently and effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on insurance approval processes. Proficiency in Xactimate software is a must. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
