Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Design Manager/Lead to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, preferably with NICET III certification in Water-Based Systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and HydraCad. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Sprinkler Design Manager will oversee the scope sheet, confirming schedule and design requisites.
• Ensure projects are delegated to suitable design team members and uphold quality management during the construction design phase.
• The manager will offer prompt, clear, and professional assistance to all clients and staff, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Conduct site surveys and train team members in the correct survey procedures.
• Inform the sales and operations team of any changes in scope or headcounts from the initial estimate.
• Perform quality checks on drawings through head layout, pipe layout and pipe size. 
• Design, review, and approve of all drawings prior to submittal.
• Manage design team's workload and commitment dates.

Key Skills: 

• Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skillsets. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, sales, and operations team.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
• Must have ability to manage a team and work on construction job site.
