Job Description
Meridian Global Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for our client located in Yonkers, NY . The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, operates safely and efficiently, and demonstrates reliability and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, pallets, and materials
Move inventory throughout the warehouse and maintain organized storage areas
Assist with shipping, receiving, labeling, and general warehouse duties
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation — must be able to commute to Yonkers, NY
Strong attendance record and attention to safety and accuracy
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Pay
Pay Range: $18.50 per hour
First Shift
Temp-to-Hire opportunity
Work Environment
This role is performed on-site at the client’s warehouse facility in Yonkers, NY. Proper PPE is required and provided.
