Do you have a strong desire to assist others in achieving their personal fitness goals? Then you're just the person we're searching for as our next personal trainer at our busy fitness studio! You'll be assessing our clients' fitness levels, developing individualized training programs, and ensuring they're using equipment safely. Responsibilities:

• Track and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordingly
• Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety
• Decrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipment
• Verify that all fitness regimens are suitable for each client by conducting personal fitness evaluations
• Conduct initial fitness and quarterly goal assessments for clients
• Create individualized and customized training programs for clients that are suitable to each client's individual goals and abilities
• Lead small group and personal training sessions
• Produce referrals and online reviews
• Maintain an 80% or higher member renewal rate
• Uphold all gym standards and safety rules to keep clients safe and progressing toward their goals

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Must possess a current certification as a fitness instructor or personal trainer
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Certification is not required but expected within 6 months of hire. Will provide on-the-job training
