Job Description: 

Lead Staffing is currently hiring Pipefitters for a project in Okeechobee, Florida to start as soon as possible. As a pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities:

• You will be installing carbon steel pipe, risers for Chiller, etc.
• Must have experience working on steel/welded pipe and working with risers.
• Copper experience is a plus as well. 
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine pipe layout and design.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipes to the required specifications.
• Assemble and install piping systems using various tools and techniques.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and other issues.
• Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed.

Requirements:

• Osha 10 Certification
• Proven experience as a pipefitter, Journeyman level 8 plus years.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for pipefitting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
• Able to maintain a safe work environment.
• Great attitude, communication skills and reliable attendance & transportation.
• Must have all tools of the trade (PPE).
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test & background check.
