A growing manufacturer in Monticello, IN, specializing in the production of broilers, gen sets, and chillers, is hiring Finishers to support the final stages of their manufacturing process. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential. Job Summary:

Responsible for applying powder coatings to metal surfaces using spray equipment in a production or manufacturing environment. Prepares surfaces by cleaning, masking, and inspecting parts prior to coating. Operates in a spray booth or manual application station, ensuring even coverage and proper curing. Maintains a clean work area, follows safety protocols, and performs quality checks to ensure a durable, high-quality finish.

Job Duties:

• Hang parts on overhead crane system for acid blasting
• Follow prints, measurements, and schematics
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards

1. Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as needed
2. Apply powder coating materials evenly using a spray gun in a spray booth or manual application area
3. Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and proper coverage

Pay:

$16.00–$18.00 per hour

• Pay based on experience

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Occasional overtime may be required

Experience or Skill Requirements:

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Comfortable with repetitive work in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read tape measures, prints, and electrical schematics
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bend, stand, twist)
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work well in a team
