Job Title: Powder Coater
Job Description

We are seeking skilled powder coaters to join our paint line team. The role involves applying powder coatings to components using manually operated lines and batch booth applications. Successful candidates will set up equipment, ensure proper application, and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to components using manually operated lines and batch booth applications.
• Set up equipment for proper coating application.
• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components before powder coating.
• Guide coworkers in preparing parts properly.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.
• Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
• Inspect parts after coating completion.
• Unmask, unplug, and package components as required.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in painting.
• Proficiency in painting, powder coating, and operating a spray gun.
• Experience with paint preparation and operating paint booths.
• Stable work history with a good attitude and culture fit.

• Experience in industrial painting and coating.
• Ability to work with racking and industrial painting techniques.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large sheet metal manufacturing company, where various sheet metal products are made. The environment can get hot and requires physical activity due to the size of the parts. The position is available for the 1st shift (5:00 am-3:30 pm) and the 2nd shift (3:30 pm-2:00 am).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
