Primary Responsibilities We're looking for a strong software tester with Health and Human Services industry experience. With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The Senior QA Analyst will take a leadership role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance, a deep understanding of testing frameworks, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing objectives and scope.
- Test Execution: Lead the execution of manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
- Automation: Drive the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Explore opportunities for continuous improvement in test automation processes.
- Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Implement and maintain regression test suites.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to understand project requirements and provide early feedback.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to identify potential quality issues.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the overall skill set of the QA team.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance testing teams to ensure applications meet performance requirements.
- Analyze and report on performance test results.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,725 to $127,875.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
