As a Security Officer - Chemical Entry Control in Point Comfort, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As an Access Control Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or breaches according to Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential threats and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
