As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Document and report any irregularities or security-related incidents observed at access points.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of access control systems and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
