Job Description

The Service Technician is responsible for preparing trailers and units for delivery, maintaining units and furniture, and performing repairs using hand and power tools. The role demands a high attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to document work throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trailers and units for delivery.
• Maintain units and furniture.
• Load and unload furniture onto the units.
• Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and servicing units.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Report issues as they arise.
• Maintain a safety mindset throughout the workday.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production, hand tools, carpentry, assembly, drywall, repair, and painting.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Detail-oriented and capable of lifting 50lbs or more.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Steel-toed boots are required.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled and involves outdoor/yard work. The team comprises 25-35 production workers. Steel-toed boots are mandatory. The working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work, and the latest finish time is 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
