Job Description

• Students will be provided research opportunities in organic chemistry. This includes synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds for further mechanistic studies. Training will be also provided in computational chemistry to model structures and reactivities using state-of-the-art software programs.
• These appointments will last for about four to six weeks at up to 35 hours per week. Hourly wage is expected to be $ 14.15. No prior research experience is necessary. Deadline for receipt of applications is Monday, May 20, 2024. Please note that on-campus accommodation is not available and the high school research assistants will be required to commute to Colby.
