Internship Program

The CareSource Behavioral Health Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 11-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. The program offers:

Essential Functions:

• Specific activities will vary by assignment
• Provide support on special projects and initiatives
• Create programming to support peer recovery, suicide prevention, and work force development
• Review behavioral health team dynamics/responsibilities and the behavioral health strategic plan
• participate in internal/external meetings.
• Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Current college / university undergraduate or graduate student in a credited degree program is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Effective listening and critical thinking skills
• Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
• Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Compensation Range:
$34,500.00 - $55,100.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
