To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for an experienced digital content leader to oversee the team of writers, producers, and editors tasked with creating the next name in entertainment reporting, Hometown To Hollywood. As Supervising Producer you will play a key role in shaping the overall vision of the brand and manage the day-to-day creation and distribution of content across our sites and social handles (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and TikTok). To succeed in this role, you must be well-versed in the language of the internet, hyperaware of social trends, and possess the ability to articulate a creative vision. Only candidates with experience working in and reporting on Entertainment will be considered, and you must have a rolodex to match. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead daily content strategy sessions and assign story coverage Manage both short-term and long-lead editorial calendars to ensure a constant flow of content across our sites and socials Act as a liaison for our brand to networks/studios/streamers and be a vocal advocate for our brand Review pre-release materials and lead the creative team in the development and execution of original digital content at junkets and content days Attend premieres/events and conduct interviews/capture images Shoot/Direct/Edit field productions and in-studio content Collaborate with the post-production team and see all edits through to delivery, including the creation of any necessary marketing assets Coordinate with national and local news teams on scheduling and distribution of content REQUIREMENTS 10+ years experience in entertainment news managing digital editorial teams Experience producing and editing content at premieres, press junkets, and live events. Familiarity with the industry press cycle, and existing relationships with publicity teams at networks/studios/streamers/labels Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshops, After Effects, etc) and/or other creative software A strong preference for applicants with experience in front of the camera, and a dynamic personality to match Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. The base salary compensation range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
