Bilingual Japanese Tax Senior (Full-Time)

Job details

Review of US individual income tax return particularly for Japanese clients

Review of a tax notice response letter

Computer-based tax research


Verifying that personal tax returns are prepared in accordance with federal and state regulations

Correspondences with clients for questions and issues

Communication with CDH US Tax Dept.

Communicate proactively with clients and respond to their requests with a Five Star Service attitude

Review of Payroll gross up work

Expected personal responsibilities

Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills while performing accurate planning, goal setting, prioritization, and project management for multiple concurrent projects

Developing long-term constructive and collaborative relationships in the workplace

Maintain CPEs

Embodying CDH's core values and Five Star Service

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or MBA in a field related to accounting

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in US/international tax field at a CPA firm

A plus if you have a valid CPA license (not required)

TOEIC score 700 or higher

A plus if you have knowledge in Japanese tax practice
