\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day and night shifts every weekend (alternating between one full weekend of days and one full weekend of nights)
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13-week contract
\n• Must be willing to float to Med/Surg as needed
\n• Optional call opportunities available
\n• Holiday rotation required
\n• Work in 7-bed emergency room with average daily volume of 10 patients
\n• Must function independently in a Critical Access Hospital setting
\n• Work with mix of physicians and advanced practice providers
\n• Hospitalist coverage overnight and weekends with CRNA on call
\n• Required certifications: Iowa RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP
\n• Minimum 2-3+ years of emergency department experience required
\n• Preceptor/Charge experience preferred
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• No specific scrub color requirements
\n• Billing Monday through Sunday
\n• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer

The facility features a 7-bed emergency department that serves an average of 10 patients daily, staffed by a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The hospital maintains 24/7 emergency services with hospitalist coverage during nights and weekends, ensuring comprehensive patient care. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic health records and provides both emergency and medical/surgical services to meet diverse patient needs.
