As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in welcoming visitors, monitoring access points, and managing badge control. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will utilize technology such as alarm panels and computers or tablets to support daily operations. Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or unusual activity.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
