Overview:

The Restaurant Assistant General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The Restaurant Assistant General Manager oversees and manages all areas of the restaurant and makes final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Requirements:

• Prior Restaurant Management experience is necessary
• Experience with banquets, catering, and party planning is ideal
• A motivational leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leads by example
• Administrative duties to include payroll and accounts payable
• Must maintain high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction
• Skillful planner with knowledge of basic business fundamentals
• Strong communication skills
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships and leading others
• Infectious, positive attitude that inspires others
• Must show initiative and possess the skills to self-manage
• Ability to manage both the FOH operations

Requirements

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

• Work under the direction of the General Manager
• 2+ years experience in a full service, upscale dining environment
• Pleasant, polite manner, a neat and clean appearance
• Excellent communication skills, highly organized and a strong attention to detail
• High School or Equivalent
• Experienced with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays

$70,000 - $75,000 / year
