Senior Bilingual IT Infrastructure Project Manager (contract)

Location: Remote (aligned with EST)
Duration: 6-8 months

Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager with experience leading IT infrastructure-specific projects. The successful IT Project Manager will work with the infrastructure team on a project bringing 100 sites into compliance. This role will be remote, aligned with Eastern Standard Time zone. The ability to communicate in French will be highly considered. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure IT Infrastructure projects run smoothly. Ensure all projects are completed on time, on budget, and with high quality outcomes.
• Create clear and achievable deliverables based on project requirements.
• Develop project charters and plans, mitigate risks, coordinate and schedule resources and tasks.
• Closely follow project plan and report any changes in deadlines.
• Schedule project in accordance with priorities and resource availability. 
• Prepare and deliver communications to all stakeholders. This includes facilitating team meetings, preparing updates and status reports, identifying risks and their impacts on project scope, overseeing budget and resources.
• Work in collaboration with the leaders and managers of various company sites, as well as the team members of the network and system infrastructure teams, IT and IS support teams. 

Requirements:

• PMP or other Project Management certification considered an asset.
• Certifications in IT, Computer Science, or a related field considered and asset. 
• Eight (8) years experience managing IT Infrastructure projects. 
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards is a plus. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and lead effective project teams.
• Bilingual French/English communication ability is considered an asset.
