Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled paraprofessional and sign language interpreter to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Oroville, CA. This contract position spans the full school year and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language support services onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents, even during high-stress or crisis situations.
• Travel between multiple school buildings as necessary to fulfill role requirements.
• Maintain compliance with SLPA certification standards through ongoing professional development and supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech Communications or Associate of Applied Science degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program.
• Active SLPA certification.
• Strong skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to manage work responsibilities across multiple school locations.
• Commitment to onsite workvirtual arrangements are not available.
